FASCINATED BY IGNORANCE

this is exactly what i mean. this is a prime example of the degeneration of society. what is going through these people's brains? blame it on bad upbringing as well but nowadays, in the culture of "sex sells" creepy people are becoming even more perverted and disgusting. the government needs to make an example of people like this - castration and death by electric chair!

    i agree...
in the thimes that we live in now "sex sells" its sad to say but it does to many people.
so while the upbringing and home life might have affected those sick people who watch porn and crap like that but i have to say its also those who are makin gthe movies and TV shows and even some commersials that are influencing and disrupting further people...

    something must be done.
    lets change the world <3

An example needs to be made for this type of behavior! Everyday there's a new story about child porn ring, babies getting rapped and killed. People like this should be castrated in public and be put to death.

It's not the world that we need to changed, it's America! Anywhere else around the world, these type of people will be shot on the spot.

We are leaving the wrong people in jail. Sex offenders, once convicted should NEVER be allowed out of prison. Pure and simple. No competent shrink has EVER claimed that these people can be cured. They can't, it may be a disease, but one which society can do without. Put them away for LIFE, first time, every time. It disgusts me.

      Sadly broken

This is what happens when prayer is left out of schools, and a government thinks it can separate itself from God. Ignoring Him doesn't make Him not exist, and He will allow an evil nation to destroy itself.
Sadly, our children are paying for the sickness that our government has become, where the depraved and horrid creatures that could even conceive of the idea to do such horrific things to the most innocent and defenseless, have their rights protected. These abominations shouldn't have rights too protect. And one day, I pray very soon, God will say it is enough and take back what He created and make it clean and right again.

Sorry can't get into the religion thing. Not my cup of tea. You are more than welcome to your beliefs. The fact is that our society is now geared toward helping the victimizer instead of the victim . If we arm the populace as they have in several more farsighted states where the crime rate is EXTREMELY low compared with California and Illinois and New York( very strict handgun and concealed carry laws) we would be a lot better off. The FACT is that an armed society is a polite one and such creatures would be dealt with summarily, as it should be. The town fathers should get together and hang the sob....

"(Jacques) has a very serious criminal history demonstrating an extreme danger to the community," Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig Nolan said.

Umm, I'm sorry...but am I missing something here? He has a "HISTORY demonstrating an extreme danger to the community"????!!!!! This is EXACTLY what is wrong with our justice system! The only thing that should be history is HIM. Maybe if the 1st offense didn't just get a slap on the wrist and there were actually some consequences for these bottom-dwelling scumbags, things would change. Do you think maybe some of these perverts would think twice about their actions if the knew that the VERY FIRST time they laid a hand on a child, they would lose ALL of their rights? I'm talking NO RIGHT to a lawyer, NO RIGHT to a trial, NO RIGHT to protection from their victims' tire-iron weilding parents??? NOTHING!!! I say let the parents decide the punishment. Better yet, give ME 5 minutes with that sob and a video camera. I'll put the video on youtube and guarantee you I'll have every single one of those sick pigs thinking twice.

AS I HAD COMMENTED ON THIS STORY A FEW DAYS AGO, I BELIEVE THAT ANY PAROLE BOARD THAT LETS THESE SICK DEMENTED PEOPLE OUT OF PRISON, NEED TO BE HELD PERSONALLY, MORALLY, AND FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE TO THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE SUFFERED BECAUSE OF THEIR DECISION. THE EXCUSE OF "GEE I DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD EVER DO THAT AGAIN" THOUGHT SHOWS THAT THESE PEOPLE WHO SIT ON THESE BOARDS DO NOT DO THEIR HOMEWORK. IF YOU DON'T DO THE HOMEWORK, HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO PASS THE TEST? YOU FLUNK OUT EVERY TIME YOU LET THESE PSYCHOLOGICAL, PATHOLOGICAL LIARS AND MANIPULATIVE PEOPLE FREE. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS AND IT NEEDS TO STOP! ITS TIME TO SUE THE VERY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT PROTECT THESE INNOCENT VICTIMS. SO PAROLE BOARDS REMEMBER THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR YOUR MISTAKES. STOP RELEASING THE CRIMINALS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhmm...I don't think even YOU want to live in any society where one simply accuses another of a crime and the accusation becomes the basis of proof of guilt sans trial. Today's society is one where many people have no scruples whatsoever in how far they would go to take revenge or perpretrate a thoughtless prank.

By all means, punish those found guilty in a court of law, but to advocate for a society with no legal system...well, let's just say should you ever be falsly accused of a crime, you'll break all speed records getting an lawyer.

I agree with the comment earlier..God needs to be brought back to the forefront of this world. We have for far to long been handling things ourselves and have ran this country into the ground. He won't stand by and watch it much longer.

Vermont: home of the free sex offender. I won't visit there ever, until they show more respect for children. Wasn't there anyone to protect this child from her perverted relatives?

I believe in due process, however, when it involves the rape and murder of a child the death penalty is the only way to punish these sick people. And this guy has proven..if you do it once...you'll do it again.

When I mention the death penalty I mean it in the following way:

You have the trial, he's found guilty and immediately after the trial, he is brought outside in front of the courthouse (handcuffed and shackled). Then an executioner steps up places a .357 magnum to his head and pulls the trigger...IN PUBLIC FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!

IT MAY SOUND HARSH BUT IT'S THE ONLY WAY WE CAN STOP THIS KIND OF SICK CRIME!

In closing..if it were my child...there would be no trial...he wouldn't make it that far. Sorta like the "cop killer" in Maryland. Who I think got what he deserved.

Why would her mother or whoever is supposed to be in charge of her allow her to be spending time with this uncle? That is ridiculous, she should be charged with something for not protecting her child better. She was old enough to be bluntly told the truth about what kind of person he was, and to stay away from him no matter what.
